Each clean test in a row earns a star. Three stars and the level is learnt.

- 2Three-arm roundaboutThree arms in a T. From the side road the second exit is a right turn, so it needs a right signal.
- 3Mini roundaboutPainted island, same priority rules, and you still have to go round it.
- 4Double mini roundaboutTwo minis, one after the other. Each is its own give way. Read them one at a time.
- 5Two-lane roundaboutTwo lanes round, spiral arrows on the road. Right lane and a right signal for the third exit.
- 6Signal-controlled roundaboutLights on every arm. Green gets you to the line: you still give way to the roundabout.
- 7City gyratorySix arms, two lanes, uneven spacing. One arm only joins and one only leaves. Count carefully.
- 8Magic roundaboutFive minis around a ring that runs the other way. Read them one at a time and it is just five give ways.
How it works
Give way to the right is one sentence. Doing it at a mini, at a two-lane spiral, at a signalised junction and at five minis in a row is a different skill, and it is learned by repetition: the same traffic, the same decision, until the answer arrives before the thinking does.
You drive it in 3D from behind the car, the way the junction looks through the windscreen, with a small overhead map in the corner where priority is easiest to read. One tap makes that map the whole screen. Every scenario runs from a fixed seed at a fixed timestep, so the cars arrive in the same order at the same speeds on every attempt. Both mistakes are marked: entering when you should have waited, and waiting when the gap was there. The second one has a box on the marking sheet too: Progress – undue hesitation.
