Driving instructors by test centre
Instructors here are listed by the test centre or centres they teach around, so you can find someone who already knows the roundabouts your examiner will use. A basic listing is free and any instructor can add one.
Entries marked Featured paid for their position at the top; everything below them is in alphabetical order. We do not vet teaching quality, and a listing is not a recommendation. Check the instructor is on the DVSA register before you book.
Instructors listed here
No instructors have listed themselves yet.
The directory opens with the first instructor. If you teach around a test centre, adding yourself takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
Until someone is listed here
Checking an instructor yourself
- DVSA keeps the official register. Search it at GOV.UK, and ask to see the badge in the windscreen: green is a fully approved instructor, pink is a trainee.
- Ask which test centres they teach around. Someone who takes pupils to your centre already knows its roundabouts and its usual routes.
- Ask what the hourly rate covers, how long a lesson runs, and whether their car is available for the test.
- A pass rate quoted by a school is not a DVSA figure. The centre’s pass rate is, and it is on every centre page here.
While you look
The parts of the test that do not depend on who teaches you are already on the site: how each centre scores, how long the wait is, and what learners say about the test itself.
Teach around a test centre?
A basic listing is free: your centres, transmission, whether you run intensive courses, your rate if you want to show it, and how learners reach you. A person checks each listing before it appears.
Want the top of a centre page?
Featured placement is paid and sold per centre per month, and it is always marked as paid. Driving schools and brands can ask about the same space.
